Returned to Work Employees: Predictors of their Well-being

Due to fast changing working environment leading potential strains among employees, chronic health problems (CHP) become more prevalent especially aging employees regardless of sectors. By 2019, Public Service Department (PSD) reported 4,677 public service (PSE) with CHP. The organization has suffered losses due the long-term medical leave taken by CHP PSE, particularly when it involves talents. Organization bear greater if they do not take into account well-being returned work (RTW) employees. To date, there are unavailable studies conducted on RTW PSE in Malaysia. Therefore, this study aims determine predictors after returning at Ministry Health Malaysia (MOH) which focuses three (3) identified: adjustment, and perceived organizational support (POS). This was based quantitative, non-experimental cross-sectional research paradigm. Specifically, employed descriptive correlational designs entertain objectives. Based findings data collected 125 respondents, most dominant predictor is adjustment followed environment. contributes significantly Theory Work Adjustment Job Demands-Resources Model. Recommendations for future also provided.
